Malorie kohos - founder

Growing up in an organized home, Malorie learned the importance of distinguishing between the items she truly cherished, those which were needed for practical reasons, and which possessions she was ready to let go of.

At the end of each year, Malorie and her mom would take a day to sort through her school work, craft projects, and clothing to keep space for what mattered most to her.

Inspired by her mother, Lois Kaplan, a Montreal professional organizer with over 19 years of experience, Malorie decided to follow in her footsteps after completing her formal education.

Malorie graduated from Concordia University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology.

She then joined Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) and became a POC Trained Professional Organizer that year. In 2022, she earned her Silver Leaf membership status.

Malorie has also received several certificates from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization® (ICD) and is a Chronic Disorganization Specialist®.

Malorie’s past experiences involve working with neurodivergent youth, including those with various developmental disabilities such as autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome, during her summers at both Summit School Day Camp and the day camps offered by the YM-YWHA."

Additionally, Malorie taught a home organizing course at the West Island Women's Center, demonstrating her expertise in the field.

In her free time, Malorie loves dancing, hiking, watching documentaries, trying new vegan restaurants around Montreal, and playing board games with family and friends.
